You can choose one of four majors, three of which are provided at the University of Chester, where students wishing to obtain the additional Master of Science will complete their chosen major.

On this study program, you have the option to earn an additional Master of Science. We offer this degree in collaboration with the University of Chester in Great Britain, which is regularly recognized for its excellent teaching and support structures for international students.
The University of Chester offers the following Master’s study programs:

  • International Business
  • International Finance
  • Marketing Management

If you decide to pursue the additional Master of Science, you will spend an entire academic year (3 trimesters) at the University of Chester. Your Master’s program (M.Sc.) at the University of Chester will be recognized in full as a major for your Master of Arts (M.A.) at Hochschule Fresenius. Your studies will then be structured as follows:

The Master’s study program at the University of Chester is made up of 3 trimesters in which you will complete modules for both degrees. During your year in Great Britain, you will earn 60 ECTS points toward for your Master of Arts in Germany. You will complete this Master’s program with 120 ECTS points, including the points earned during your first two semesters.
With an additional trimester (30 ECTS points), you will earn a total of 90 ECTS points for your Master of Science from the University of Chester. The third trimester in Great Britain ends shortly after the start of the fifth semester at Hochschule Fresenius. Your regular duration of study will therefore be extended to five semesters on account of the British time model.
You can also complete the program in four semesters and remain in Germany. In this case, your major will be Global Management and you will graduate with a Master of Arts degree.
