Hochschule Fresenius wants to encourage and support talented young people to pursue and successfully complete their studies. At the same time, they should also have the opportunity to take on social responsibility. Half of the scholarship will be financed by individuals, companies, clubs, associations, or foundations. The federal government pays the other half.
Hochschule Fresenius expects to have 65 Deutschlandstipendium scholarships for the upcoming academic year. The scholarship will be available for all study programs and faculties.
The application phase is over. The next application phase starts in the middle of april 2023.
Many thanks from all scholarship holders
of Hochschule Fresenius!
As a scholarship holder, you will receive a monthly scholarship of EUR 300, half of which is financed by the federal government and half by a private sponsor (company, foundation, association, …), which the university has recruited. The scholarship does not count towards BAföG benefits. There is no legal claim to the scholarship.
The scholarships are initially awarded for one academic year (September 01 to August 31). To continue the scholarship, a reapplication is required in the following call for applications. The maximum funding period is based on the standard period of study in the respective study program. If your studies end on February 28, an application is also possible. In this case, the funding period will exceptionally last for only one semester.
The application phase is over. The next application phase starts in the middle of april 2023.

Hochschule Fresenius offers two options for funding:
Hochschule Fresenius offers two sponsorship options: Full sponsorship of a scholarship holder or partial sponsorship in cooperation with other companies.
You take over a one-year scholarship of EUR 1,800 for one student. It is possible to take over several annual scholarships.
You can specify the subject area from which the sponsored student is to come. It is possible to specify up to a single course of study. If you wish, you can also provide personal support for your scholarship holder (e.g. as a mentor for the final thesis, offering an internship in your company, etc.). However, this requires the consent of the scholarship holder.
You have the possibility to support scholarship holders together with other sponsors. You can make a one-time or regular contribution of any amount (at least EUR 25). We collect all sponsorship contributions in the sponsorship account set up and award them to particularly talented and committed students in accordance with the regulations of the Deutschlandstipendium.
You can find more information about the Deutschlandstipendium in our brochure „Deutschlandstipendium: Wir sind dabei!“
By participating in the Deutschlandstipendium as a sponsor, you demonstrate responsibility by supporting high-achieving young people in their academic success at an early stage and thus actively contributing to the future viability of Germany as a business location.
As a sponsor, you will have the opportunity to make personal contact with the sponsored students and professors at an annual event at Hochschule Fresenius. Hochschule Fresenius will take over the entire coordination and organization of your Deutschlandstipendium for you.
Your donation is tax deductible. Up to a donation of EUR 200, your bank statement will serve as a donation receipt. For donations of more than EUR 200, you will automatically receive a donation receipt from us, which you can claim on your tax return.
