The master’s program provides you with a comprehensive understanding of the molecular, cellular and genetic mechanisms of human diseases – including cancer, neurodegenerative diseases, infectious diseases and genetic disorders. You will also acquire the know-how to understand how biological processes such as genetic regulation, cellular communication and organ function change in disease states.

In the master’s program, you will apply your knowledge of biomedicine, genetics and clinical research in an interdisciplinary way – furthermore you will learn to design and carry out independent research projects. Admission requirements

To be admitted to the master’s study program Biomedicine (M.Sc.) at Fresenius University of Applied Sciences, you need to fulfil the following requirements:

You need a bachelor’s degree with at least 180 credit points in biology, biosciences, molecular biology, biomedicine, medicine, biochemistry, pharmacy or a related subject.

You are either a native speaker of English or can provide proof of 85 points in the TOEFL iBT test, an IELTS score of 6.0 points, or a Cambridge Certificate of Advanced English with at least grade B.
